Narrator Selection
From there, we put out a casting call to our roster of 500+ professional narrators. Suitable matches will send through five-minute audition clips for you to review — you'll usually receive between five and ten — and this stage typically takes seven to ten business days.
Recording
Once you've chosen a narrator, recording begins, working chapter by chapter where applicable. We'll send you the raw audio to check for misreads or mistakes, and any corrections get re-recorded — you'll get a changes form to track everything that needs adjusting.
Editing
After you sign off on the raw audio, we record and add music to the opening and closing credits, then go through the entire recording word by word — smoothing breath sounds, mouth noises, pacing, and any other distractions.
Next comes the mix — EQ, compression, saturation, and other production tools come together for a warm, balanced sound. Finally, we master and format the audio to meet audiobook retailer requirements, so it's ready to be accepted by outlets.
Final Review
